This afternoon the weather gave us the TINIEST break in the rain to photograph a very special little session for my friends, the Westwood family. On Tuesday Jo and Steve went along to their 20 week scan and rather than finding out the sex of their baby right there and then, they had the sonographer write down the baby’s sex and seal it in an envelope. Jo handed me the envelope at lunchtime Tuesday and I started to plan for the session. I was entrusted with the knowledge of the sex of the baby, an honour, thank you Jo and Steve!
So here is the story of the Westwood family. This is who they are right now as they anticipate the arrival of their new baby, and this is the very moment that they found out the sex of their baby 🙂

Amazing photos Katinka What a clever photographer and the weather was certainly a challenge. The photos certainly reflect this loving and gorgeous family. We love them all and can’t wait to have another grandchild to love. What a fun way to discover whether the bub is a boy or girl.
