Tori and Anders {Married} | Hobart wedding photographer, Katinka Smith

On 14 March 2015 the gorgeous Tori and Anders said “I do” in the company of their special family and friends. The weather left a lot to be desired but wow we were so lucky, we got perfect windows of lovely weather at the exact times that we needed them! It was an honour to be apart of their very special day!

Tori, Gemma and Anna got ready at the Marchant family home – which was amazing! Their make up was done by Liv Rodgers and their hair by Cath at Bboss Sandy Bay.

Anders, Stuart and Rowan got ready at the amazing Woodbridge Hill Hideaway where the lovers were wed, which was handy, because they had some work to do hanging their lanterns and setting things up just so. No rest for the boys!

Maria Bond was their wonderful celebrant and she did a great job tailoring their ceremony just so. She was also LOVELY! The cake was AMAZING and was made by Lisa Morgan at Creating Cakes. Those adorable flowers are by Lisa at Milkbud flowers and styling on the East Coast.

All in all, it was an amazing wedding for two really beautiful people. Congratulations Tori and Anders! Thank you so much for having me along to photograph your special day.

On 9 March 2014, Angela and Farrel said ‘I do’ and had an awesome party!
It was a beautiful ceremony in St David’s Park, Hobart. A gorgeous sunny warm Autumn day. David Closs was the celebrant, there were visitors from all over to witness the moment that had been patiently waited for and there were 3 cheeky little boys – the VIP witnesses. Ange was prepared for her special day in the Lenna of Hobart Hotel – a stunning location!

Evans family {lifestyle family photography} | Hobart family photographer, Katinka Smith

Family photography,

Would I photograph an extended family session at the beach, followed up with some backyard shenanigans? Heck yes I would!! You know me, you know that nothing makes me happier than imagery that is real and authentic to a family. I want to see the love, the bonds and the connections; the stuff that we remember the most from a time that truly is fleeting. For the Evans family the beach is important to them and how they play and they had their cousins to play with too.

I think cousins are so important, I love ALL 30-something of mine, so it was great to do photograph a session with cousins! So off we went for a stroll to the beach. As soon as we set foot on the beach it immediately rained and we had to shelter under some rocky overhangs. It didn’t take long to pass and then we had brilliant sunshine to play in which sent me scrambling with camera settings thanks to the changing light conditions. That’s Tassie weather for you!!

Back at their house we got to have a little play in the BEST CUBBY IN THE WORLD – yep, I’m calling it! These kids are going to grow up with some of the coolest memories from their childhood. I’m considering packing up and moving to the beach too! Here’s some highlights from this lovely little lifestyle family session.
