I met up with Merri very briefly on Monday night for a ‘school leavers photoshoot’ to get some quick portraits of her looking stunning in her LOVELY dress before she went along to her Leavers dinner. Yesterday I had a wonderful afternoon with Hannah photographing a school leavers session. This type of session is known as a ‘seniors session’ in the US, where it is HUGE! Many school leavers have a portrait session to celebrate their big milestone (even the boys!). School leaver photography is not widely practiced here in Australia, yet, but like all things (think newborns, glamour etc), it is on the rise. In time to come I am sure that Senior photography, or school leaver photography will be just as big here in Australia as it is in the US.

I’m always wanting to push myself creatively and so I had some very specific ideas for what I wanted to achieve with Hannah with regards to the style and posing. I am so pleased to say that we pulled it off in style.Enjoy this little sneak peek of Hannah, and if you are interested in a school leaver portrait session, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
